UME Curriculum Certification is a national recognition program established by ACLM in collaboration with Lifestyle Medicine Education (LMEd).
It formally evaluates and certifies U.S. and Canadian medical schools for their integration of lifestyle medicine (LM) into undergraduate medical education. The certification process uses a tiered framework based on the number of instructional hours, the proportion of LM competencies addressed, and the availability of enrichment opportunities such as electives, interest groups, and scholarly concentration.
