To meet the baseline eligibility requirements, a medical school must:
- Establish an ACLM-affiliated Lifestyle Medicine Interest Group (LMIG).
- Integrate at least 25 hours of LM instruction into the curriculum.
- Address at least 25% of the UME LM competencies developed by ACLM. More comprehensive certification tiers require deeper integration and broader enrichment opportunities.
