Partial Academic Pathway is the starting point. Once a Partial Academic Pathway is fully established and active, the university may seek Full Academic Pathway status.
The Partial Academic Pathway is a simple way to gain recognition for teaching evidence-based chronic disease management and is a great opportunity for any eligible university program. The Full Academic Pathway is for those programs that are focused on taking a “deep dive” into lifestyle medicine and want to offer students the opportunity to be fully prepared to take the certification exam upon graduation.
