LMEd (Lifestyle Medicine Education) is a strategic initiative that provides open-access, evidence-based curricular resources to help train future clinicians in lifestyle medicine. LMEd empowers educators and institutions to integrate core lifestyle interventions—such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, substance use reduction, and social connectedness—into medical education. The ultimate aim is to prepare health professionals to prevent, treat, and reverse chronic diseases using lifestyle-first approaches, aligned with the six pillars of lifestyle medicine. The initiative is led by the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville (USCSOMG) and functions in partnership with ACLM.
