Residency faculty can pursue the Educational or Experiential Pathway to lifestyle medicine certification.
The Educational Pathway for residency faculty requires completing the Faculty Learner LMRC (FLMRC). The FLMRC is an exact replica of the LMRC and provides residency faculty members with their own LMRC course materials and tracking system. There is no additional cost to enroll, however, eligibility will be dependent upon faculty member enrollment and leadership status in the LMRC residency or fellowship training at their institution. Upon completion of the FLMRC, residency faculty members qualify to sit for the ABLM certification exam.
If you are currently enrolled in the LMRC as faculty and would like to enroll in the Faculty Learner Course, please use this link: LMRC Faculty Learner Registration (lifestylemedicine.org)
The Experiential Pathway requires completion of 30 hours of online CME from an American Board of Lifestyle Medicine (ABLM)-approved course, 20 hours of event CME from an ABLM-approved event or combination of approved events, and submission of a case study.
