To be eligible to certify as a Lifestyle Medicine physician there are 2 pathways:
Experiential - For Physicians:
- Must be certified by a medical specialty board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) for U.S.-based physicians.
- Canadian physicians must be certified and registered to practice.
- Primary board certification and two years of practice is required before registering for an ABLM exam.
